The #3 seeded Scottsdale Community College Women's Basketball team went on the road to the #1 seed Pima Community College and fell by the final score of 59-50. Scottsdale got off to a good start, taking an early game lead and went into the half up 25-22. The Aztecs had a big 3rd quarter and took the lead by the score of 42-32. The Artichokes would battle the rest of the contest, but could not regain the lead and would eventually fall short. Scottsdale will take home the Region 1 Division II Runner-Up trophy. SCC will close out the season at (19-11) overall.
