The #3 seed Scottsdale Community College Women's Basketball team came through with a big playoff win over #2 seed Mesa Community College. Scottsdale got off to a solid start taking a 17-14 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. Mesa would battle back and take the lead and SCC would go into halftime down 32-27. The Artichokes came out strong in the 2nd half regaining the lead and closed out the 3rd quarter with a 48-42 lead. The 4th quarter was back and forth, but SCC would prevail by the final score of 65-59. This win propels the Artichokes into the Region 1 Division II Championship. They will now go on the road to take on the #1 seed Pima Community College on Saturday, March 11th at 7:00 PM.
