The Scottsdale Community College Women's Basketball team came up short as they hosted Pima Community College. SCC came out with great energy and controlled the game for the 1st half. Scottsdale went into halftime with a 32-20 lead. The Artichokes would push their lead to 13 points entering the 4th quarter, but Pima caught fire in the 4th and came back to tie the game at the end of regulation. SCC and PCC would battle back and forth in the overtime period, but Pima would eventually come out on top by the final score of 71-66. This loss puts Scottsdale at (11-11, 5-9) overall and they currently sit in 3rd place overall in the Region 1 Division 2 standings. Scottsdale will have short rest as they play a make-up game on Monday when they go on the road to take on the conference leading Arizona Western College Matadors at 5:30 PM.
