The Scottsdale Community College Softball team picked up a split during their conference double-header match-up against Arizona Western College. SCC and AWC traded blows in game 1 of the day with the score trading hands several times, but with the Artichokes coming out on top wit ha 15-13 win. Scottsdale would battle with Arizona Western again in game 2 of the day, but could not keep up this time and would drop the game by the score of 11-4. This puts Scottsdale at (8-34, 6-34) on the year with 4 games left in the regular season. The Artichokes will be back in action on Friday when they go on the road to take on Phoenix College for a double-header to be played at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
