The 12th ranked Scottsdale Community College Men's Basketball team continued their hot start moving to (2-0) on the season with a win over Benedictine University-Mesa. The Fighting Artichokes got off to a rocky start with a narrow lead of 21-17 midway through the 1st half. SCC kicked it into gear and eventually went into halftime with a 62-20 lead. The 2nd half the Artichokes poured it on and won by the final score of 133-42. Scottsdale was led by Cameron Faas who finished the game with 24 points while shooting 6/7 from 3pt range. Isaiah Broady had another solid night with 22 points, 6 assists, and 5 steals. Tanner Poeschl rounded out the night for the Artichokes going for 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 4 steals. Scottsdale will next face off with Justice College at a neutral site on Friday at 1:00 PM. The game will be held at Phoenix College.
