The Scottsdale Community College Baseball team came up short on the road when they took on NJCAA D1 South Mountain Community College. Scottsdale battled all game but would fall by the final score of 4-2. SCC was led by Vinny Angle who went 2 for 3 on the day. Joel Basile was solid on the mound going 7 innings and striking out 6 and only giving up 2 earned runs. The Artichokes will look to get back on track today when they host South Mountain Community College at 3:00 PM.
