The No. 7 Scottsdale women's soccer team used a four-goal second half to defeat Mesa 4-0 tonight at MCC.

The Artichokes are now 8-1-1 overall and 7-1-1 in the ACCAC. They have now recorded six shutouts this season.

Ava Fike, Sydney Delaney, Mia Loher and Samantha Battles were the goal scorers for SCC. Kaylee Vasiloff made the start in goal.

Scottsdale remains one point behind first-place Phoenix and one point ahead of third-place Pima with five matches remaining.

Up next, weather permitting, will be a visit from No. 6 Phoenix on Saturday, October 11 at 5:45 p.m. PC defeated SCC 1-0 on September 13 at Phoenix.
