The #6 Scottsdale women's soccer team rallied for a 3-2 win over Laramie in their season opener tonight at SCC.

Scottsdale led 1-0 at the half after a goal from Alex Lewis in the 40'. Laramie scored goals in the 57' and 58' to grab a 2-1 lead. Elizabeth Wheeler would convert a penalty kick in the 83' to knot things up at 2. Scottsdale kept the momentum and it was Lewis converting in the 85' for her second goal that gave the Artichokes the win.

Scottsdale opens conference play next Saturday, September 6 when they host Chandler-Gilbert at 5:45 p.m.
