Baseball Scores 15 in Win Over GCC
The Scottsdale baseball team completed the two-game sweep of Glendale today with a 15-7 win at GCC. SCC has now taken three of the first four meetings between the two.
The win improves SCC to 26-20 overall and 16-16 in the league. It is also their fifth-straight conference win.
The win, coupled with a Chandler-Gilbert loss, moves the Artichokes to only 3.0 games behind the fourth-place Coyotes. There are eight games remaining in the conference season. The top four finishing clubs will make it to the NJCAA Region I playoffs.
It is now single games for the remainder of the conference season. Up first for SCC is a visit from South Mountain on Saturday, April 12. First pitch for the game at SCC is 12 p.m. The Cougars, ranked #6 nationally, have won all of the first four meetings.
