Late Rally Pushes Gauchos Past SCC

Scottsdale baseball dropped a 9-4 decision to Glendale today at SCC.

The loss moves the Artichokes to 20-14 overall and 10-12 in the league.

In today's ballgame, SCC committed six errors and issued six free passes. They led 4-2 after five innings. Logan Spetz started and went 6.0 innings. He allowed three runs, all earned, on five hits. Tyler Hansen (1-1) took the loss in relief. He allowed two unearned runs. Scottsdale had seven hits, with last week's conference player of the week, Phoenix West, collecting two. Jaron Nevarez went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Up next for the Artichokes will be a doubleheader at SCC vs. Pima on Saturday, March 22. The first game will begin at 12 p.m. The Aztecs swept the Artichokes in a doubleheader earlier this season.
