The Scottsdale women's basketball team held off a strong second half by Glendale to win 60-55 this afternoon at SCC.

Scottsdale is now 12-7 overall and 8-3 in the league. The Artichokes have won four straight.

Scottsdale held a 38-16 lead at the half before the Gauchos made a run. GCC trimmed the lead to eight at 43-35 after two and tied the game at 51. Andrea Becerra hit a critical three-pointer with 41 seconds to go that gave SCC a 54-51 lead.

Becerra and Landin Kelley each had 15 points. For Becerra it was a season high.

Next up for SCC will be a visit from #8 Pima on Wednesday, February 5. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. The Aztecs defeated the Artichokes 67-53 on January 11 in Tucson.
