Women's Soccer Selected for NJCAA Championship

The Scottsdale women's soccer program was rewarded for their tremendous season by learning of their selection to the NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Ala. The tournament will run from November 17-23.

The Artichokes earned the No. 8 seed in the 12-team tournament that will be played in four groups of three with each team facing the other in its respective group. The winner of each group will move on to the semifinals.

The Artichokes drew in their group No. 1 seed Northwest Mississippi and No. 12 St. Charles CC. The top-seed Rangers (18-0) were 11-0 in their conference and captured the Region 23 title for the second-straight season. St. Charles will be the No. 12 seed and posted a 15-1-2 record. They were the Region 16 and Central District Champions.

SCC will open the tournament with a matchup against Northwest Mississippi on Sunday, November 17 at 10 a.m. CST They will face St. Charles on Monday, November 18, also at 10 a.m. CST The winner of the group will advance to the semifinals on Thursday, November 21.
