#12 Women's Soccer Cruises Past Chandler-Gilbert
The #12 Scottsdale women's soccer team cruised tonight to a 6-1 win over Chandler-Gilbert at SCC.
Scottsdale wasted little time as Samantha Battles scored in the 12th minute. Mia Loher made it 2-0 SCC with her tally in the 22nd minute. Yaritza Duncan added one more before the half with a goal in the 38th minute.
Emmie Formanek added her name to the scoresheet with a goal in the 64th minute that gave SCC a 4-0 lead. Loher completed her brace with a goal in the 73rd minute. Kaslee Roskelley made it 6-0 just four minutes later.
The Coyotes ruined the shutout bid with their first goal of the night in the 77th minute.
Scottsdale improved to 2-2-1 overall with the win and 2-2 in the ACCAC.
Up next for SCC will be a match at home against Gateway. The match begins at 8 p.m. Please note this match was originally scheduled for Gateway but has been moved to SCC.
