The Scottsdale Community College Volleyball program survived the 1st match of the championship round by taking down Glendale Community College 3-1. Scottsdale would come out to lose the opening set of the match 25-18, but would come back strong winning the next three straight sets by the scores of 25-12, 25-18, and 25-20. This was Glendale Community College's first loss of the double-elimination tournament and now the two teams will play each other one last time for the Region 1 Division II Championship tonight at 7:00 PM.
