Volleyball Team Earn Individual Awards; Rath Named Player of the Year & Setter of the Year
The 4th ranked Scottsdale Community College Volleyball team continues to rack up the accolades after an undefeated regular season going 19-0. Shauna Rath was named the ACCAC Player of the Year and ACCAC Setter of the Year. In addition to those awards Rath was also named 1st-Team All-ACCAC and 1st-Team All-Region. Brooklyn Casey was named 1st-Team All-ACCAC and 1st-Team All-Region as an outside hitter, while Savannah Davis and Cayla Gaxiola were named Honorable-Mention All-ACCAC. Head Coach Regina Mannix was named ACCAC Coach of the Year by leading the Artichokes to the #1 seed in the Region playoffs that begin on Thursday, November 3rd.
