Gaxiola and Rath Earn ACCAC Player's of the Week

The 4th ranked Scottsdale Community College Volleyball team was very well represented this past week with two of their team members earning ACCAC Player's of the Week.
DII Offense - Shauna Rath - Scottsdale - The sophomore from Peoria has earned her second POTW honor this season. Rath had five kills, 78 assists, and 22 digs in two matches last week. The #4 ranked Fighting Artichokes won both matches.
DII Defense - Cayla Gaxiola - Scottsdale - The freshman from Glendale had 42 digs and seven assists in two matches last week as she helped #4 Scottsdale remain unbeaten.
The Fighting Artichokes will be back in action this Wednesday as they go on the road to take on the 7th ranked Chandler-Gilbert Community College Coyotes at 7:00 PM.
