The Scottsdale Community College Volleyball team took down and eliminated the top-seeded Chandler-Gilbert Community College Coyotes tonight by the final match score of 3-1. This win propels the Fighting Artichokes to the Region 1 Division II Championship tomorrow where they will face off with Glendale Community College. Scottsdale will need to beat GCC twice tomorrow to win the Regional Championship and to secure their bid to the NJCAA National Tournament. SCC will play Glendale on Saturday November 6th at 4:00 PM. If Scottsdale wins, they will face Glendale one more time at 7:00 PM that evening. All of the double-elimination tournament matches for the D2 regional playoffs will be held at Chandler-Gilbert Community College (Pecos Campus).
