Scottsdale Drops Opening Match to Glendale; Will Continue Regional Playoffs Friday

The #3 seed Scottsdale Community College Volleyball team fell by the final score of 3-1 in the first round of the Region 1 Division II playoffs today. The tournament is double-elimination and SCC will have a chance to climb back up to advance. Scottsdale's next match will be on Friday, November 5th at 11:00 AM against the loser of the match between #1 Chandler-Gilbert vs. #4 Pima. All of the double-elimination tournament matches for the D2 regional playoffs will be held at Chandler-Gilbert Community College (Pecos Campus).
