SCC started off there conference play today with an impressive 9-0 sweep at Glendale Community College. The Team has never lost a conference dual match under head coach David Critchley and is five time defending conference and regional champion.

SCC's strong doubles play continued with Jonno Knowlman and Olly Gilbert winning 8-2 at the top position. At second doubles Niles Jackson now a perfect 5-0 in doubles play this spring partnered with Charles Norman to post another 8-2 victory. Jose Martinez and Taylor Hoffmann got the team their first point of the dual with a quick 8-0 victory.

Singles was more of the same with the Artichokes over powering the Gauchos at all six positions only conseeded a handful of games. The charge was lead by Jose Martinez at #6 whose 6-0,6-0 performance got the 'Chokes their first singles point point followed by Olly Gilbert posting a 6-1,6-0 victory. Norman, Knowlman, Jackson and Hoffmann followed suit posting convincing wins.
