The Scottsdale Community College Women's Soccer team went on the road to take on Pima Community College in the semi-final round of the Region 1 playoffs. Scottsdale got off to a great start, with Emma Green (Marissa Guevara) scoring in the 5th minute of the match to give the Artichokes a 1-0 early lead. The Aztecs managed to score in the 30th minute of the 1st half and Scottsdale went into the half tied 1-1 with Pima. PCC scored their second goal of the night in the 48th minute of the match and SCC battled but could not get the equalizer and would fall by the final score of 2-1. Scottsdale finishes the season with a (12-5) overall record and was ranked #17 in the final NJCAA national poll.
