The Scottsdale Community College Women's Golf team is off to a great start this Spring bringing home a 2nd-Place team finish at the Chandler-Gilbert Invitational this past weekend.

The FIghting Artichokes shot a team score of 739, which was good enough to get them the runner-up finish. Olivia Serpa (FR/Scottsdale, AZ) came in 1st-Place overall in the individual competition, shooting a 145 over two days and winning by 19 strokes. Sophia Coleman (FR/Phoenix, AZ) also finished in the top-10 coming in 7th-Place overall in the individual scoring. Scottsdale will look to keep this hot start going foward with a tournament at Dobson Ranch Golf Club hosted by Mesa Community College on February 23-24.
