Bio

Bonham comes to Scottsdale CC after 9 years at the Division I level between Middle Tennessee State and Tennessee State University. He helped lead those programs to 5 NCAA Tournaments and 1 NIT Appearance during that time.

While at Tennessee State, Bonham spearheaded one of the nation’s biggest turnarounds, taking a team that had not had a winning season in 20 years to the NCAA Tournament in his final campaign by winning the 2015 Ohio Valley Conference Championship. Bonham served as Associate Head Coach, Post Player Development Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, and Offensive Coordinator. While at TSU, he helped develop several All-Conference talents who would go on to play overseas.

Prior to Tennessee State, Bonham served in roles from Student Assistant to Graduate Assistant for the Middle Tennessee State Lady Raiders from 2006 to 2011. During his time there, he would help see the program to 4 NCAA Tournament Appearances off the back of three Sun Belt Tournament Championships and four Regular Season Championships. They would also reach the Sweet 16 of the NIT. He would spend time working with 3 WNBA Draft Picks and Nation’s Leading Scorers, Chrissy Givens, Amber Holt, and 2x WNBA Champion Alysha Clark.

Bonham, a native of Bartlett, TN, completed his undergraduate studies in May 2010, graduating Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is married to Tasha Washington and together they have a son, Ciaran.
