The Scottsdale Community College Women's Basketball team picked up a nice conference road win over NJCAA D1 Yavapai College. SCC got off to a great start and took an early 22-16 lead at the end of the 1st quarter and never looked back. The Artichokes would continue to extend their lead throughout the game and take the win by the final score of 73-61. Monique Shim paced the Artichokes with 20 points, while Talia Dial came through with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Scottsdale is now (15-8, 10-7) overall on the season with their next game coming on Wednesday when they go on the road to take on Chandler-Gilbert Community College at 7:30 PM.
