The Scottsdale Community College Women's Basketball team had one of their student-athletes earn NJCAA National Player of the Week for her stellar play over the holiday break. Monique Shim averaged 26.3 PPG, 3.3 RPG, and 2.0 APG over her past three games to lead the Artichokes to 3 wins. Scottsdale took down Hastings College JV, Justice College, and Community Christian College with Shim leading the way. The Fighting Artichokes will be back in action with two home games this week, Scottsdale will host Phoenix College on Wednesday, January 4th at 7:30 PM, then will host Yavapai College on Saturday, January 7th at 4:00 PM.
