The Scottsdale Community College Men's Golf team had their top player shoot a great 2nd round to move up the leaderboard.

Matthew Creighton (SO/Des Moines, IA) shot a 4-under 66 today that shot him up the leaderboard for individual scores. Creighton was 2-under after the front nine, and was even-par heading into 18. Creighton stuck a second shot on the par-5 18th green about 6 feet away, and he stepped up and sank an eagle putt to give him his 66 on the day. Creighton now is tied for 5th place overall and 6-strokes back with two rounds to play. Round 3 will be tomorrow at Gold Canyon Golf Resort as tee times begin at noon.
