The Scottsdale Community College Men's Golf team had one of their members get an individual invitiation to the Region 1 Division II tournament.

Matthew Creighton (SO/Des Moines, IA) got off to a great start on the opening round, but as the day wore on he had a few errors that cost him. At the end of the day he shot a 6-over 76 that put him in 15th place overall in the tournament. Creighton has 3 more tournament days to get things back on track and to climb the leaderboard. The Regional tournament is being held this week at Gold Canyon Golf Resort.
