The Scottsdale Community College Men's Golf team had a solid performance today as they are currently in 5th place overall in the Paradise Valley Community College Invitational.

The Fighting Artichokes shot a team score of 309 to put them in 5th place out of the nine teams at the invitational. Scottsdale was led by Matthew Creighton (SO/Des Moines, IA) who shot a 1-over 73 on the day. Alex Kilng had an up and down day and shot 78. Both Rayce Mathews (FR/Payson, AZ) and Ryan Simpson (FR/Harpers Ferry, WV) shot an individual score of 79 to round out the team score. Sam Nelson (FR/Scottsdale, AZ) shot a 84, while Morgan Boltz (FR/Clovis, CA) shot a 111. Scottsdale is currently 15 strokes back from 3rd and 4th place if they are looking to climb up the leaderboard tomorrow over at Gainey Ranch Golf Club.
