Men's Golf Finishes Strong on Day 2 of Pima CC Invitational

The Scottsdale Community College Men's Golf team came through with another solid performance for day 2 of the Pima Community College Invitational.

The Fighting Artichokes finished in the top half of the leaderboard with one of their team members picking up a individual medal. Alex Kling (FR/Scottsdale, AZ) shot a 73 on the day and finished even-par for the tournament taking home 6th place overall. Matthew Creighton (SO/Des Moines, IA) and Rayce Mathews (FR/Payson, AZ) both shot a 79 to pace the Artichokes. Sam Nelson (FR/Scottsdale, AZ) came through with an 82 to add to the overall team score of 313 on the day. Both Ryan Simpson (FR/Harpers Ferry, WV) and Morgan Boltz (FR/Clovis, CA) improved on their second day performance shooting a 86 and 113 respectively. Scottsdale will continue their season April 12th and 13th when they go to the South Mountain Community College Invitational.
