The Scottsdale Community College Men's Golf team had another good performance today as they played the final round of the Mesa CC Invitational at Dobson Ranch Golf Course.

The Fighting Artichokes came into the day hovering in the middle of the pack of the 9 conference teams participating. SCC was looking to move up in the leaderboards as they were led today by Alex Kling (FR/Scottsdale, AZ) shooting a 74. Rayce Mathews (FR/Payson, AZ) had an up and down day, but a (-2) back 9 helped him to put up a 76 in the final round. Matthew Creighton (SO/Des Moines, IA) came through again with 75, and Sam Nelson (FR/Scottsdale, AZ) rounded out the total team score shooting a 81 on the day. Morgan Boltz (FR/Clovis, CA) shot a 105 to close out his second day on the tournament. SCC will have to wait to see how they finished in the final team and individual standings, but they will be back in action on March 1st and 2nd as they host their own event at Hillcrest Golf Club.
