Former Men's Gollfer's Alex Skarperud and Bryant Buckellew competed on the Scottsdale Community College 2013-2015 teams.

Skarperud and Buckellew played in The Pine and Palm in Detroit Lakes Minnesota at Detroit Country Club on August 5-11, in a field of 178 players cut to 64 for Match play.

Bryant shot 76, 69 in qualifying for Match play and was the #22 seed. He won the first-round match 64 3&2, won the second round of 32 up in 19 holes, in the third, lost in 16 and finish 16th in the tournament 5&6 to the former 2-time champion.

Alex shot 69, 76 for a tie for 22nd seed but was the 30th seed, he won his first match in the round of 64, won the second round match of 32, won the 3rd round match of 16, won the 4th match of 8, but lost the 5th round of 4 and finished the tournament in 4th play.
