The 13th nationally ranked Scottsdale Community College picked up a hard fought win over a tough Eastern Arizona College team. Scottsdale and Eastern Arizona slugged it out in the first half with neither team getting much going on the offensive end. SCC would go into the half up 20-18. SCC turned up the heat in the 2nd half outscoring the Gila Monsters 52-39 and winning by the final score of 72-57. Scottsdale was led by a balanced attack with Isaiah Broady leading the way with 13 points and 5 rebounds, while Carson Kelly finished with 12 points and dished out 9 assists. Tyree Tyler had a big double-double going for 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Unisa Turay racked up 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Cameron Faas rounded out the double-digit scorers going for 10 points. Scottsdale has now won 13 games in-a-row and are currently (19-4, 11-4) overall. SCC will next go on the road on Wednesday when they take on Phoenix College at 5:30 PM.
