The 20th ranked Scottsdale Community College Men's Basketball team has now won 4 straight games with their win over Phoenix College. Scottsdale and Phoenix traded baskets early in the contest, but late in the first half SCC started to pull away. The Artichokes led the Bears 44-35 at the half and got off to a hot start in the second half leading by 21 points with 13 minutes to play. Phoenix would make a run of their own in the second half to cut into the Artichoke lead, but SCC maintained a comfortable double-digit lead for the rest of the game. Scottsdale would finish with a 96-86 win. SCC was led by Unisa Turay who finished with 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Isaiah Floyd had another big game off the bench going for 17 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Tyree Tyler was a monster in the paint finishing with 17 points and 19 rebounds including 10 offensive boards. Scottsdale is now (10-4, 2-4) overall with the win and will be back in action on Saturday when they host Yavapai College at 2:00 PM.
