The 8th ranked Scottsdale Community College Men's Basketball team has gotten off to a hot start going (4-0) in the early part of the season. Two of their team members were named ACCAC Player of the Week over the past two weeks for their play to open up the season.

Oct. 30 - Nov. 5

Division II - Unisa Turay - Scottsdale - The sophomore from Phoenix dished out 16 assists in a 121-49 win over Arizona Sol in the Fighting Artichokes season opener. Turay also scored 4 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and had 3 three steals in 21 minutes.

Nov. 6 - Nov. 12

Division II - Carson Kelly - Scottsdale - The sophomore from Chandler averaged 15.33 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists per game in three contests last week. The Fighting Artichokes won all three games as Kelly shot 54.8% overall and 57.1% from three.

The Fighting Artichokes will be back in action this Saturday as they host Arizona Christian University JV at 2:00 PM.
