The Scottsdale Community College Men's Basketball team found a way to win last night in their final regular season game of the season. SCC would race out to a 49-38 lead in the 1st half, but a 12-2 run by the Thunderbirds would make the game close to the end. Scottsdale would eventually pull out with the win by the final score of 88-86. SCC was led by Carson Kelly who finished with 21 points and 10 assists. Dante Gonzales had a great night off the bench going for 17 points and 4 rebounds, while Tyree Tyler (16), Unisa Turay (15), and Isaiah Floyd (12) would all finish in double-digits. This win moves SCC to (17-11, 11-9) overall and has earned them the overall #1 seed for the Region 1 - Division II playoffs. Scottsdale will host the overall #4 seed Pima Community College on Tuesday, March 1st at 7:00 PM for the Region 1 - Division II Semi-Finals.
