The Scottsdale Community College Men's Basketball team got off to a good start with a big win in their non-conference match-up with Park University-Gilbert JV. The fighting Artichokes took the lead early and never looked back as they won by the final score of 109-54. Scottsdale had 5 different players score in double figures and were led by Cameron Faas who finished with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Tyree Tyler had a big night as well scoring 21 points and tracking down 14 rebounds. Carson Kelly paced the Artichokes with 19 points and 5 assists, while Unisa Turay finished with 14 points and 4 assists. Dante Gonzales chipped in with a double-double of his own going for 10 points and 10 rebounds. Scottsdale will look to keep things moving forward as they have 3 games next week starting with a home game on Tuesday, November 9th at 7:30 PM when they host Benedictine University-Mesa JV.
