The Scottsdale Community College got back to their winning ways with a split with the visiting Eastern Arizona Gila Monsters. Scottsdale would drop game 1 of the day by the score of 5-2. In game 2 of the double-header, SCC would come through with some offensive firepower scoring 10 runs with 16 hits. Scottsdale would take down EAC by the final score of 10-5. Scottsdale was led by Cade Nelson who went 4 for 5 in the game including 3 RBI's. Derek Baessler had a solid performance at the plate going 3 for 5 with 2 RBI's. Scottsdale is now (17-16, 8-14) overall on the year at the midway point of the season. Scottsdale will look to keep things moving forward as they go on the road on Saturday to take on Pima Community College for a double-header at 12:00PM and 2:30PM.
