The Scottsdale Community College Baseball team went on the road and earned another win against Phoenix College to take the early season 2-game series sweep. The Artichokes won by the final score of 10-2 after being down 2-0 for the majority of the game. A huge 6-run 7th inning opened the game up for SCC and they never looked back. Scottsdale was led by pitching of Ismael Garcia who pitched 5 and 2/3 innings and gave up 5 hits and only 1 earned run to keep the Artichokes within striking distance. Scottsdale will now host Mesa Community College on Tuesday, March 1st at 3:00 PM.
