Softball dominates Scottsdale in Double Header Win

The softball team has been on an impressive winning streak, extending it to 12 games. Their performance this season has earned them a spot as the sixth-ranked team in the country, which is a testament to their hard work and dedication.

They had a phenomenal day on the field as they took on Scottsdale Community College in a double header. The team won both games, with an impressive score of 11-0 and 13-7.

In the first game, the team showed their strength in all areas of the game. Riley Martens hit a homerun, and Loganne Stepp, Danitza Hernandez, and Cheyenne Ben all had 2 RBIs. Bella Angelo and Riley Martens also contributed to the team's success with stolen bases. The pitching duo of Loganne Stepp and Alyssa Tinnin worked together to help the team secure a shutout win. The fielding was also amazing, with the team making some incredible plays to prevent Scottsdale from scoring.

The team carried their momentum into the second game, with Bella Angelo hitting a homerun and Alexis Ayersman and Loganne Stepp both stealing bases. The team showed their resilience, bouncing back from a strong start by Scottsdale to secure another impressive win.

 

With only seven games left the Bears are heading into the home stretch of the regular season. The team is looking to continue their drive and make a deep run in the playoffs. Their focus will be on finishing the season strong.
