The Scottsdale Women's Basketball team put up a great fight this afternoon, before falling at home 73-67 in overtime to Eastern Arizona. Eastern entered the game ranked #11 in NJCAA Division I.  

Scottsdale trailed 59-56 with 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter, but a Talia Dial free throw and layup by Makeylei Snyder sent the game into overtime. The Gila Monsters caught fire in the overtime, hitting four 3-pointers to pull out the win.

Talia Dial led SCC with 26 points.

Scottsdale falls to 10-7 overall, 6-6 in the conference.  

SCC will next travel to South Mountain on Wednesday, January 31. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
