#12 Chandler-Gilbert outscored the Scottsdale Community College Men's Basketball team 12-4 in the overtime period to defeat the Artichokes 92-84 today at CGCC.

Scottsdale's last lead of the contest was at 41-39 with 17:30 left in the game. The Coyotes would build a lead of 9 points with 3:17 remaining, yet the Artichokes would not back down. In the game's final 33 seconds, Rafe Canale hit two three-pointers and Tavares Broady one to erase a 6-point Chandler-Gilbert lead and send the game into extra time.

The opening half was a back-and-forth affair with the two sides exchanging leads. The Coyotes were up 7 at 29-22 with 6:27 left. Broady would hit two big three-pointers and Charles Temple added two short jumpers to pull the Artichokes in front 33-32 with 3:10 left. CGCC would eventually take a 37-36 lead into the locker room.

The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for SCC, dropping their overall mark to 9-6 and 5-5 in the ACCAC.

Scottsdale returns home this Wednesday, January 24 when Phoenix College comes to SCC. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The Artichokes pulled out an 83-75 win over the Bears when the two teams met on December 9.
