Men's Basketball Drops Third Straight
The Scottsdale Men's Basketball team dropped their third straight game, falling 110-80 to No. 14 Pima Community College at SCC.
The Aztecs led the game throughout, leading by 17 at the half, 62-45. Scottsdale closed the gap early in the second half before Pima pulled away.
Thomas Hastings and King Turner each scored 15 to lead SCC.
The loss drops Scottsdale to 7-3 overall, 3-2 in the ACCAC.
Scottsdale will next be in action on Saturday, Jan. 6 when they travel to Yuma to face Arizona Western. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. The Matadors and Artichokes split their two meetings last season.
