Volleyball Completes Second Consecutive Perfect Regular Season
The No. 2 ranked Scottsdale Volleyball program completed their second consecutive perfect regular season with a 3-0 win over #13 Chandler-Gilbert tonight at SCC.
Unlike the earlier matchup this season where SCC dropped the first two sets to the Coyotes, the Artichokes started quickly with 25-19 and 25-22 set victories to open the contest. Scottsdale closed out the match with a 25-21 third set win.
The win improves the Artichokes to 21-0 overall and caps off a perfect ACCAC record of 16-0. It was also the 40th consecutive regular season win for SCC. Scottsdale's last regular season loss occurred on Oct. 29, 2021.
Scottsdale will now turn their attention to the NJCAA Region 1 Division II Tournament. The Artichokes will enter the tourney as the top seed and will play their first match against the #4 seed on Thursday, November 2 at 7 p.m. The entire tournament will be hosted at SCC.
