The No. 12 ranked Scottsdale Women's Soccer team dropped a 3-2 decision to Pima this afternoon in the NJCAA Region 1 Division II Semifinals on the campus of SCC.

Shayla Hunt got the Artichokes out to a quick 1-0 lead with a goal in the 2^nd minute. SCC continued to press and had an opportunity to go up 2-0 with a shot that went off the goal post.

Pima answered SCC's goal with one of their own in the 27^th minute. The score remained there as the match entered the halftime break.

Pima took their first lead of the match at 2-1 with a goal in the 61^st minute. Just four minutes later, Shayla Hunt blasted a goal into the top corner to even the match at 2-2. Pima regained the advantage at 3-2 after scoring in the 81^st minute.

SCC pushed but was unable to find the equalizer before the final whistle.
