#11 Women's Soccer Defeats South; Sets Up Showdown With #2 Phoenix

The #11 Scottsdale women's soccer team cruised to a 6-0 win at South Mountain this morning.

SCC took an early 1-0 lead on a goal in the 6th minute from Jaden Nelson. They would add two more before the break from Cassidi O'Connor in the 24th minute and Shayla Hunt in the 40th minute.

Indi Stum would record a brace on the morning with goals in 50th and 60th minute. Kayleen Laramee completed the scoring with a tally in the 70'.

The Artichokes recorded their ninth clean sheet of the season, with Aubriella Whisler and Rosalia Oyzerovich splitting keeper duties.

SCC improved to 11-3-2 overall and 8-1-2 in the ACCAC.

Up next for Scottsdale is a visit from #2 Phoenix at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will mark the final game of the regular season and has the Region No. 1 seed on the line for the following weeks playoffs. The game will also pay tribute to SCC's sophomore class.
