Men's Soccer Blanks Eastern Arizona
The Scottsdale men's soccer team picked up a 1-0 victory tonight over Eastern Arizona in Thatcher.
The match was tightly contested throughout, with the teams entering the break tied 0-0.
Scottsdale would score the only goal of the evening when Santiago Estrada Derbez buried his chance in the 62nd minute. For Derbez, it was his fourth goal of the season.
SCC has played impressively over their past six matches, winning three, with two draws and only one loss.
The win improves the Artichokes to 3-7-3 overall, 3-4-2 in the ACCAC.
