Lakisha Shorty Picks Up ACCAC Player of the Week

The Scottsdale Community College Softball program is off to a solid start and one of their student-athletes have been recognized as the ACCAC Player of the Week.

Div. II Position Player - Lakisha Shorty - Scottsdale - The sophomore from Gallup, NM, had a .571 batting average, hit two home runs, scored two runs, and had four RBIs as the Fighting Artichokes split a two-game series versus Glendale.

The Artichokes will be back in action today as they host Central Arizona College for a double-header starting at 1:00 PM.
