The Scottsdale Community College Men's Basketball team came up with a big playoff semi-final win as they hosted Pima Community College. Scottsdale was firing on all cylinders as they came out to a 10-0 lead to start the game. Scottsdale would pour it on in the first half, leading 58-31 at the half. SCC extended their lead to 38 points at one point in the second half and eventually won by the final score of 104-71. SCC was led by a well balanced attack with Unisa Turay leading the way with 18 points, 9 assists, and 5 steals. Cameron Fass had a good game going for 15 points and grabbing 8 rebounds, while both Carson Kelly and Isaiah Floyd chipped in 13 points a piece. Elijah Cole had a big night off the bench going for 10 points and hauling in 7 rebounds. Dante Gonzales rounded out the double-digit scorers going for 10 points. Scottsdale will now move on and host the Region 1 Division II Championship game that will take place on Friday, March 4th at 7:00 PM. The Artichokes are the overall #1 seed in the playoffs and will host #2 seed Glendale Community College.
