The Scottsdale Community College Men's Basketball team was back in action today as they play over the next few days in the Phoenix College Holiday Classic. Scottsdale opened up the event with a game against Dream City Christian. SCC and Dream City got off to a rocky start, but Scottsdale gained and maintained a early lead and led at the half 36-28. SCC would come out quick in the second half and push the lead to double-digits and never looked back. The Artichokes would eventually close out the game with a 82-61 win. Scottsdale was led by Isaiah Floyd who finished the game with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Unisa Turay turned in a solid performance with 15 points and 5 assists. Edin Smjecanin had a big day as well going for a double-double consisting of 11 points and 10 rebounds. Scottsdale will have a short rest and will be back in action tomorrow as they take on Bella Vista Post Grad at 8:00 PM. The game will once again be held at Phoenix College.
