The Scottsdale Community College Men's Basketball team moved to 5-4 (2-3) on the season with a 99-88 loss against Arizona Western College. SCC came out hot and led early by the score of 16-8, but AWC started to chip away and eventually pull away from the Artichokes taking a 53-43 first half lead. Scottsdale would battle back and forth for the second half, but could not cut significantly into the AWC lead and eventually fell. Scottsdale was led by Carson Kelly who finished the game with 21 points and 6 assists. Unisa Turay had a strong scoring night again going for 25 points. Scottsdale will look to regroup quickly as they take on their third straight NJCAA D1 opponent by hosting Eastern Arizona College on Saturday at 4:00 PM.
