The Scottsdale Community College Baseball team came through with a split against Phoenix College which will keep the Artichokes in the playoff hunt moving towards the end of the season. Scottsdale won game 1 of the series 8-5 but came up short in game 2 by the final score of 8-4. SCC is currently 1 game back from a regional playoff birth with 4 games left on their regular season schedule. Scottsdale will look to close the season out strong with a two game series with Mesa Community College coming up on Tuesday and Wednesday. Both games will be played at 3:00 PM with Tuesday's game is at Mesa, while the Wednesday game will be at home.
